# Disaster Recovery

If you accidentally damage your database or make a grave mistake you can desynchronize it with the function **Stop Symmetric DS**.

This allows you to restore a database from a previous point, for example from yesterday:

If the current database is repaired, you can start the synchronization again with **Start Symmetric DS**. Now you can work on the current database again, as it is now synchronized with the server.

After that go to XEOX and resync your configuration to the radius server:

Click on your radius server and click on **Resync** to force synchronisation. This step must be repeated for every radius server.
